I have a job opportunity in Seattle and I am seriously considering it. What is the riding season like up there, what are average spring, summer, and fall temperatures. And this rainy season I hear about, when is it and how long does it last? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

summer riing kicks ass. It's usually about 70F and sunny alot of the summer.Spring is generally pretty goos but a little rain towards the end. Fall rains quite a bit but you can usually go for a ride once or twice a week. Winter sucks. Cold ass shit here now, 20F and at my house it got 5" of snow last night.Lot of places to ride if you like riding in the mountains, lots of twisties and back roads. Probably not much help but maybe just a little insight.

I moved up here to seattle from los angeles last january. The riding season was basically March - Oct... but with March/April still "warming up" and Sept/Oct "cooling down"... ie. the not so hardcore riders start in like may thru august. As for the rain, same deal... March it still rained a decent amount, and april it tailed off... it sort started in oct... but come november it came in full force.
There's pretty decent riding, i dont know how it is where you are now.. compared to cali it sucks, but overall its not bad, theres good enough roads. Depends too what part of the city you are in as to how far you;ll have to go to ride

tHE RIDING IN THE SEATTLE AREA IS GREAT. YOU CAN RUN TO mt. st. helens in matter of hours and you have mt. raineir to run they have excelent roads to run. you can go to auburn and run black diomand road which is great. i used to live right off of black diomand and would amke that run all the time.

Ive heard Black diamond is pretty good... the better riding is on the south side for sure, with the roads Chuckm mentioned.

Shut up newb!! LOL You gonna be at Bluvillian's on saturday?
As far as the riding up here goes, stay off the major freeways if you want to steer clear of the NAZI police force, nothing like what you are used to down there. Major and I mean MAJOR revenue collectors for the state up here. The other forum that I post on we have a listing of good lawyer's to use when you get popped by the po po.
