For anyone serious about gun ownership and self protection I recommend picking up a copy of Shooting To Live by Capt. W.E. Fairbairn and Capt. E.A. Sykes. It goes on in detail about the proper shooting techniques of the FSA method of point shooting. Although the book was written over 60 years ago, all the concepts hold up very true. I was trained in the FSA point shooting method in my law enforcement training and alot of he techniques I was taught are outlined in the book. I bought my copy on amazon for 12.50.

Great piece of history, good read, and there are still some valid points enclosed , but I wouldn't base ones defensive doctrine on this classic.
