I'm wondering if there are going to be any track day events around Vegas or even Arizona during Spring Break 2004 (March 15-19th). If you have any information or would like to trailer your bike down from the Pacific Northwest (northern idaho) pm me or email. Appreciate it!! Thanks!! sval29@yahoo.com

I have a full truck load (three guys, 2 GSXR 1000s and a R-6) headin to Vegas for Spring Break. Anyone who is going to be in the area the 14-19th of March should pm me and we can get a ride going. Thinking about making a run from Vegas to San Diego with a stop in Havasu to hang with some old Marine Corps buddies while we're down there. For those staying in the Pac NW, I feel sorry for you, it's gonna be hot, fun, and bikinis everywhere!!

Well, we rode all over Vegas on Friday the 12th, down to Hoover Dam on Saturday (got stuck in the biggest traffic jam ever, had a buddies R6 get sick and not want to run, had to get the truck, pissed off the cops babysitting the dam), rode to San Clemente, CA on Saturday (riding across the desert sucked, but the 74 and 318 Highways out of Palm Desert to the Coast are the bomb!!), buddies R6 was acting up again with charging problems, probably because of his super high wattage aftermarket bulbs, rode back on Monday and did Red Rock Canyon on Wednesday (pissed off park security out there) and left on Thursday. I have to say the riding in town Vegas sucked ass. The rodes are so slick if someone spits on them your tire will slide on you. So much sand on the roads it is impossible to get the front end up safely. Stop and go on the strip is no place for a sportbike, no matter how many titties get flashed at you. For those who have not made it down to Fremont Street for the light show, you are missing out. Peace brothers, sorry we didn't meet up. For the guy on the Triumph on the coast side of the Ortega Highway, thanks for the directions to Camp Pendleton. We were running lowwww on petro and had to get some fuel fast.
