I have a dragbike with an 1127 motor. It has a 1277 kit with a mildly ported head. When installing the stock cams I encountered a problem. With #1 at TDC the only way I can get the notches on the ends of the cams to line up is to space them 21 pins apart. The book calls for 22 pins.Has anybody encountered this.I will put a degree wheel on it tomorrow and see what I can come up with, but in the meantime I wwelcome your ideas

what lobe centres are you going for? did you know that iff you've got high comp you can run 110-114 inlet lc and it will kill mid range abit and will put it up top as well as reducing your chances of pinging ,detonation.

Been covered, the GSXR1100 engine uses 22 pins but they don't line up with the heads like the Bandit does. The arrow on the exhaust sprocket lines up with the head then count your 22 pins, This will leave your exhaust cam line just below horizontal, its the right timing but it looks off.

Put a degree wheel on it tonite.Came out 104 intake 104 exhaust. This is at 21 pins.Go figure.Bumped up cylinder pressure 15lbs.Sounds great.Gonna run it Sat and find out
