We are in the process of designing a new type of Display similar to our current LCD-100. We would like your input on what features you would like to see in this product.

It would of course show all of the PCV data so you would get - RPM, throttle position, duty cycle, speed, gear and fuel/ignition change.

We are talking about adding:
Real time fuel mileage/useage readout
Lap timer - (GPS based)
GPS track mapping
Lean angle - wheelie angle sensor

If using our new HUB (coming soon):
Adjust NOS trigger points
Display EGT's (up to 2)
Adjust boost (HUB may have a boost controller)

What else would you like to see? We looking at a retail price point of $500

g-force indicator (lean, accel and decel)

hp, tq - just a rough estimate
Temp sensor

don't know if you have completely redesigned it or not but a slightly bigger lcd and smaller housing...it would be nice to modify the housing to replace the stock cluster with. If considered then being able to change the display skin as well

I like the Idea of the Lean, Accel and decel, Make it to replace the stock display. It sould like it will have everything the stocker has anyway!!

if you can add all of the above it would be neat. order of preference

3) Real time fuel mileage/useage readout
1) Lap timer - (GPS based)
2) GPS track mapping
4) Lean angle - wheelie angle sensor

Replacing the stock dash is not as easy as it sounds, especially if they go and change it from one model year to another.

It will be a larger screen and different housing when released.

Is it going to Log the info?

I ask because it will be sortof a moot point to have a lean angle displayed, when at the time you are using it, looking at it will be impossible to do safely.

Gear indicator would be nice, and the ability to put as many, or as few of the options to be displayed as you wish, and move them around. Like say you want it mainly to display lap times, be able to make the font on it larger than the rest, or move the gear position to be the main display etc.

i use the old lcd now and i love it but it def should be a alot bigger u really cant use it much as you ride. i have mine set up with the speed sensor and its nice to be able to log a run and see my speed rpm fuel throttle position if you where to add the things that you where talking about that would be great..... the only thing that would be nice would be to make it blue tooth compatable and make it so you can get a blue tooth gps switch and make it a regular gps for those days that you go for a long ride and let it save your rides :cheers

+1 for the ability to log and DL data

What he said above. I'd buy it.

Accelerometer for getting a rough estimate of HP

AFR Data Logging with use of the Auto Tune (this sounds pointless, but I think it would actually be rather useful)

It needs to hook to and be able to adjust any dynojet componet obviously, and it would be great if (I have not ever used the older one so forgive me if this is already this way) it had a usb to plug into to make mapping changes or kill time changes or whatever without have to pop the seat or move anything.

think the wheelie thing is a bad idea, as you know people are going to try to make that number a little bigger...lol BUT!!! If it does have some kind of wheelie angle thing it would be neat if there was a timer and distance readout on it. No i am not kidding.

Personally I would like to see it be able to show readings from optional sensors that you guys could make. Like for wheel speed and suspension stroke. That would interest me very much.

I would like a front and rear wheel speed sensor, and be able to compare the speed of the two from top speed pass's.

Plus with wheel speed sensors you would be a few steps closer to offering traction control that really works :)

You guys make awesome stuff!!

how bout an a/f auto tune for the pc3 like you already have for the pc5?

Thanks for all the suggestions. We are also looking into a new HUB that has multiple inputs and outputs, some of which could read suspension stroke if you have a compatible sensor. All of this would log thru the new LCD. With this it MAY also be possible to have an Auto Tune kit for the PCIII, but don't hold your breath!!!

Any updates?

No updates unfortunately. We have quite a few irons in the fire so not sure when we will have something new.

Any plans for a standalone quick shifter..... for those who want one, but dont need an entire fuel management system?

DynojetResearch
08-27-2009, 04:10 PM
We have that already - it is part #4-112 and it a stand lone ignition quick shifter. Works really well as it has kill times per gear and internal logic to stagger kill times per cylinder and based on RPM.

what would be really neat would be software to overlay the gps data with a video feed from an onboard cam. then we could make our track day footage look like motogp on board race coverage!

DynoJet, I thought you guys might get a kick out of this... :lol

Curiosity strikes me... what would be the chances of future firmware upgrades enabling the possibility of an "AFR Learn" capability? Say I take my bike to get it tuned on a dyno, but the dyno operator doesn't fix the AFR table after the tune...so I go riding and my dyno tune goes to hell because the auto tune throws it back to where it was before...

Instead, go get a dyno tune, and turn on the AFR Learn feature so it fills in the AFR table with the proper settings..?

Also, any update on when the S.F.M's will begin shipping out to distributors? How bout any updates on the LCD?
