Im not sure if thats the correct term or not, but whatever. I just bought a Remington 1187 and was lookin to get an extender that will make it hold 10 rounds. Anybody have ant experience with these or know of any companies I should steer clear of?

i havent had any experience but ive seen them. IMO the only thing they are good for is mounting a flashlight at the end. is this for defense or hunting?

Ive never hunted before, unless you count blasting defenseless quails with a BB gun as a kid, but Id really like to get into it. Until I do that I'll probably just use it for shooting clays and the occasional Jehovahs witness (kidding)

There are restrictions on the amount of shells you can hold for hunting, but for home defense it will be a plus

In MN waterfowl, Woodcock, Rails, Snipe, and Doves are restricted to 3 shells, no limit on anything else, like pheasant, grouse, prairie chickens, or small or big game.

Remington makes an extension tube and it works very well. Vangcomp systems also has an extension tube that is suppose to be very good.

Odd:dunno Here, it makes no sense. Its argued if you don't hit a goose or duck when they are close in 3 shots, your risking winging it or injuring it as it gets further. Wouldn't the same apply for pheasant and grouse?...:wacko
