: Help! I lost my keys!

I feel like a moron. I lost my keys yesterday. I had my primary and my spare on the same key ring that got lost. Sadly I was at too many places to go back to each one to check the parking lots in the rain to find them again.

Now, what I need to know is, are there any other methods for starting my bike? I want to take it to a locksmith or something to see if I can get a key made/re-made but I have to get it there somehow and I don't have a truck. I haven't researched this at all yet, and haven't done a search through the forums (sorry, I have to leave soon to do more family christmas-type stuff.). Please PM me if you know how to start the bike (93 GSXR 600) any other way. Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

Look in the yellow-pages for "mobile locksmith".

How difficult is it to pull the ignition?

I am sorry all this is just me being cautious. Dude you need call a lock smith or the dealer, if you are in a tight bind I am sorry for you but I am not going to tell anyone how to rip bike off.

That or go to the Oldskool forum and they have a service manual for a 750 in that year.
I can see 6/7 getting alittle leary but youv'e got 28 post.Get on that post and see what you can find,it's not that hard and do some studyin you'll see. It's not going to be fast but if the bikes yours you'll have the time.

If you remove the tank, and unplug the ignition-switch, then you can remove the whole upper-triple tree and just take that to a locksmith. ...it's a headache, and if it was me, I'd be doing the yellow-pages thing.

remove the tank and there's about 4 bolts that have to be removed under the triple 2 for your clip-ons and the fork clamps including the triple nut cap
then wedge a couple of standard screwdrivers to open the fork clamps, then lift up don't forget to unplug the harness. so 2 screwdrivers, a 10mm wrench and a 14mm socket should remove the triple.
