Is it possible to fit 750 clipons to 1100 USD forks??

The 1100 (91/2 at least!) USD forks diameter is 52mm at the top. Anyone knows what years 750 forks had the same diameter (at the top obviously!)?

all 750's 91 and up used 50mm only.

Does anyone knows the diameter at the bottom triple of different years 750's?

The `91 750 front-end is 54mm dia. at the bottom-triple-clamp, and 50mm at the top (and clip-on's).
