margolik 12-22-2003, 01:42 AM So am I alone in wondering how exactly these bikes will look in real life (the 750's that is)? I have a '02 600 yellow/black and I love it..I was wanting to move to a '04 750...but the more I look at the new body and color scheme, the more I'm thinking I might want to wait for the '05 and a new color scheme and maybe an undertail exhaust... anyone else thinking this way? JasonR 12-22-2003, 09:44 AM Um the bikes are being changed for 04 that means they will usually stay the same for another two years. I have heard a rumor that the 05 will be the last year of the 750 and they're gona have a special edition bike availible. I am douting it will have many differences over the 04, if this rumor is even true at all. It's actually amazing that the 750 still survived another round, I thought 03 was going to be the last due to the rule changes in racing. margolik 12-25-2003, 12:04 PM yeah...I was just hoping for a better yellow/black color scheme in the '04 750s...my 02 600 yellow/black has a nice color scheme...but the new 04 750's are just lacking... I always admire a bike that someone has customized in a simple tasteful elegant way. Are you really going to do it like that? I imagine cost is pretty variable, since there'd probably be a lot of do-it-yourself involved. It would depend on how you go about it. It could be pricey paying a bodyship to actually paint it. Getting the graphics/stickers is more up to whether someone like tapeworks.com has it or not. Where there's a will there's a way. Once again, nicely done.
