Forgot to metion I just got some bigger better brakes for the bike,they are 6 piston(front)brembo's with carbon pads,and the rear's are 4 piston brembo's also with carbon pads,and also a Ohlins(spelling may be off)Rear shock!(the shock will run you around $650-$850 depending on which one you want!)

um fuel injection didn't start until 03 so i call http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/bs.gif on the power commander

just cause it's an 02' doesn't mean it's not fuel injected.To correct you in the 98',99'00',01's were all carb bikes,but the 02' started the fuel injection of the SV650's!

Also I bought the OZ wheels from a close friend that works with me in the shop and he gave me a good deal on them!As for the PC3 and jet kit they are on my bike but I am not going to take a pic of them just so you beleive me(kinda retarded),I don't care if you beleive me or not,besides I am not questioning you on the crap you got on your bike!

Awe don't listen to these guys they are just giving you a hard time. Seriously though since you jetted your power commander you need to put a aluminum cahooter valve on your oscilating exhaust collector otherwise not only will your muffler bearings freeze up and break but it could lead to catastrophic blinker fluid burn out. You need to buy Ohlins bliker fluid and a PVM carbon resivoir too. Only and I mean Only use Yoshimura muffler bearings, titanium are the best and you can lube them with dish soap.

Ok I am going to explain why you would "jet" a FI'ed bike...I went to my friends shop where I live and got him to machine me some bigger fuel injectors,ten installed them with the PC3,and used the software(for a PC)and made a custom profile for the PC3 and made our own tuning alterations,both on the dyno and on the street for the best performance!What we did is CUSTOM work not just buy a jet kit and a PC3 bolt on and go.We modified the stock jet kit by machining them and after every little change we put them back on the bike with the stock FI and dynoed the bike and street tested it too,to see the differences...That is how we did it,we are just a couple of mechanincs having a little fun by being creative,most of you I'm sure are just riders and don't know a lot about working on bikes but I'm not looking down on you,it's ok...You just don't understand what it's like for us!Maybe some of you do and can relate?Thank you to those of you who had good things to say,and once again thank you!

Bro we're not trying to "downmind" you at all; however maybe if the words that come out of your post DIDN'T SOUND LIKE BULLSHIT then maybe we would not make such comical remarks. I'm glad you posted your bike and said that you had all of these mods that sounded rediculus because I have had so many laughs of all of the posters who had something to say about it all!!!! There is also a couple of other things that you can do to your bike:

1. Check your oil gap for stoicheometric carbon/fuel ratio. It will help your motor in the long run from bad things such as detonation, residue buildup in the exhaust rods, and overloading your hydrocarbon converter.

2. Install a modified flux capacitor. This will help your upper end (88+ MPH) horsepower to really beat anything on the street, much less NHRA.

Okay, not taking Aus's side for anything, as I totally disagree with what he has been doing, but some car company actually put carbs on an injected motor back in the 70's or 80's. I believe the idea was that if the FI went out, you could still use the carbs. Sort of a redundant system that was horrible to say the least. As for Aus' far fetched ideas on doind it to a modern sportbike. I owned a VW Rabbit with direct injection - interesting engine to say the least, but confusing to work on...

And, for the record, I agree with most everyone up here - if you actually have a bike, please show pictures. I own a digital camera that doesn't work, but instead of bitching about it, I went down and bought a throw=away camera, and when I had the pictures developed, they put them all on a disk for me...

Aus you have to understand, most of the posters up here are very helpful, friendly people that have a passion for one of the best motorcycle companies in the world.

Also you can machine injectors,cause if you can't then why do we have indy cars?The injectors for the indy v-8 were CNC machined,and then after that for final machineing they were hand done!I know what I am talking about considering the fact of that is one of the things that I custom make for my own jet kit that I have on my exotic custom's!

The truth the profile is right,I will stop lieing...I don't know that much about bikes only learning so I can build better sportbikes for a living,so I apologize for my actions and what I have said.Although I do own a motorcycle it's broke down at a friends house and I will get a pic of it for all of you within the hour,my bike is a Kawasaki 98'ZX-6E carbed not an FI...I have no excuse but that I only wanted to feel like I was in everyone else's place and not my own,so if I am to be banned then fine but I want to say I am sorry and would like a chance for a fresh start. It was pretty obvious to all what you were doing, although I didn't think you even had a bike. So what's wrong with having a broken down bike, yah I know it sucks to not be able to ride it, but it's nothing to be embaressed about.
It's alot easier to just be honest and ask any questions you want, as you noticed there's alot of guys on this site who really know their shit
