im planning on putting a deposit. i was just wondering what to look for in a good deal. i was thinking extened warrenty is a must, is it? anyone have any suggestions to work out a good deal. price, extras, etc. anyone else already put a deposit for an 04?

id probably try to stay around 9-9500 OTD if not a little less!

Agreed, I think the extend warranty is a toss up. Granted its $500 more but your covered for up to 4 yrs. That part is up to you. But that will drive the OTD price up higher. Personally I think zuki has a good thing going I've had zero problems with my SV and its going on 3 years old now. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

might want to be careful and ask around about the warranty, i've heard that suzuki doesn't stand behind it very well...but then again I never had to use it on my 750 so i idon't personally know for sure

You have within the first 12 months you buy the bike to buy the warranty.

My 03 600 was bought in Jan. I bought it from the guy in June, and in August I added the warranty. I then sold it later. I canceled the warranty 2 weeks ago. I plan on calling Suzuki tomorrow to see if the check has been sent. Since its still under the 12 month factory warranty, I assume I will get nearly all of the 500 back for the extended. We'll see how hard i have to fight these fuqers for my money though.
