I was surprised to see a gun talk section! I have a lot to read apparently! Here is a quick one of my beretta .40, Keltec 9mm and Springfield Armory XD40.

This was purchased about 7 years ago, at the time cost about $1500. Have no idea what it is worth right now.

I have to wear the gloves that they supplied, if I don't the oils from my hand will tarnish/eat at the gold.

Dude the XD's are the shit, I just recently looked at the XD-M 9mm 9x19 for my fiance (and for me to of course:biggrin) and that thing is sweet:drool.

I wantd the XD in .40cal OD Green/Black but i found out that this Law enforcement shop right outside of base had something better to offer, well money wise that is.

Glock actually offers a manufacture deal for Active duty and law enforcement discounted prices on glocks, this actually covers most calipers but excludes a few models, mainly the C models but other than that there were no restrictions. So i ended up getting the Glock 22 .40cal. It came with the case and 3 clips, standard fixd sights all for $400.

I think some models/calipers are even at $350 (which is the price a few friends qouted me) So with that price i had to pass up the XD and go with the glock:cheers.

You got a kick ass deal on that Glock! I am looking to pick up another pistol. I'd like to pick up a different carry piece.

Yea its not exactly what i would use as a concealed carry piece but 1 things for sure when i 1st took it to the range she was hitting a nice 4"-6" sized pattern from 20 then 40 yards out. I was very impressed with the accuracy.

I would love to get another .380 but i am uneasy since right now 9mm is in such high demand that they are not making 380's. Now to me that makes me kinda think i should go pick up a 380 because i might be able to score it cheap and just have to sit on it until bullets are available, is an ideal gun to carry but if not then im going to look into a sub-compact 9mm glock... cant beat the price so might as well lmao
