I did a search and found nothing on the SV650s '04. Has anyone heard about the differences between the '03 and '04? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

As for as looks go, you won't see a difference. But i do know that they changed the tail/seat section, it's now a little lower than the '03, they also changed the rearsets(pegs, whatever people call em) made them a little lower and further back i think, so in essence they made it a little more comfortable ride. I also noticed that the muffler is now a bolt on, which is not the case on the '03 !! I think that's the only real changes they made.Oh, and the colors are gonne be Blue and Yellow for the SVS.

I heard from a good source that Suzuki will NOT have a 2004 SV650 or SV1000. The short of it is that Suzuki is eithered paired up with a sister company or bought out a small company and they are handing over the SV lineup to them. So, there will actually be a 2004 model, but not might carry the Suzuki stickers.

Notice that the SV line is the ONLY bike that has not showed a 04 model yet?

I saw them in Toronto at the bike show there.If you go to www.svrider.com (http://www.svrider.com), there's a pic on the main page of a yellow '04 , and u can also check out the canadian suzuki website, they have the '04's on there as well.www.suzuki.ca. I also have the '04 full lineup brochure, and , yes , the SV's are in it, so this so called Rep u talked to doesn't know his sh*t at all LOL !!!

I just don't understand why they wouldn't be up on the US website then?

I highly doubt they made changes to it just to sell it in Canada. I'm confident they'll be sold in the US too, maybe Suzuki US is just slow at updating their site !!
