I am looking at buying a 1100 wp ('93). Appears in pristine condition. At approx 6000rpm plus there is a pronounced high frequency vibe in bars, pegs, motor. Is this normal?

Tough to say without experiencing first-hand... but yes, a certain amount of "buzziness" is inherent in all inline-four four-strokes... the bigger they get, the more pronounced it is.

have the stock handle bar end been replaced with aftermarket aluminum? first hand no pun intended this will increase that feeling. i went back to stock because of it. good luck with the wc.
