Yeah, but I'm not sure how the dogbones/linkage will work - you might wanna make sure and get the ones that "match" the oil-cooled arm.

Next question.....why would you want to put a oil cooled swing arm on a water cooled bike? Not giving you any shit, just curious

Will not fit, already went through this. Completely different frame set-up. I ended up w/ a 95 gixxer750 braced for my 94 1100, not quit as clean as the oil cooled unit but looks better and apparently a few inches shorter so it will have a steeper turn-in, handle sharper. Havent ridin it yet still incompleted anyhow its freezing outside. The cool thing is though, I've found hugger fenders for the 750 swingarm as well as it uses the much more appealing chain gaurd. But if interested Iin tackeling the project I have the complete rear from a 97 gixxer 750 w/ suspension.

...That's funny... the `93 arm bolted straight-in on my `89 frame.

Yep, I have a 93 750 arm on my 90 too!

You MUST get the right dogbones for the swingarm youre using. Banana swingers have a totally different mounting point for the dogbones as the std oil cooled arms.

Oilcooled 750/1100 dogbones are swappable, with the benefit of 750 dogbones giving an extra inch of rear ride height wjen used with 1100 arm.

Hold on.... I seem to remember 94+ (braced arm) bikes had a thicker pivot bolt/bearings. You could use the spacers/bearings from an old arm to use newer braced arm (larger hole) into old bike, but maybe not backwards??? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif

Unless...... whatr if you get the whole pivot bolt, bla bla bla...

Width-wise, yep, they are all the same.

i have a 93 1100 and also a uunder braced shootout arm off a 90 oil cooled. i either have to move the 90 chassis with the arm or keep the arm for my 1100. the 90 has rc wheels but the 93 has pm's. i would also have to switch the wheels. i saw a post about this swap but i cant seem to find it. does any one remember the wheel swap post? i don't recall the issue on the spacing/caliper hanger.
anyone with ideas?
