So I just bought two long barreled Saiga-12's and was wondering how many others have a version of this gun? A friend of mine has 4 because he is paranoid they will restrict the import of these guns. I bought one for me and one for a friend because I think they will be fun for shooting. I like guns.

Thanks for the "lol" but many of the forums I visit allow direct embedding of youtube videos. Hence the "embed" function. My big mistake was not previewing thread to check for anamolies. Do you have any constructive or destructive input as to the Saiga's?

I just noticed that. And after shooting a few, I thought they were a nice toy. Of course I paid $560 shipped per item. I have yet to hear of any long-term problems with them. As far as I am concerned barrel life and other such parts are replaceable.

Well, finally received my new Saiga. Had to go out immediately and buy a 10 round magazine for it too. Its cheap looking and chintzy, but I know it will shoot just fine. With the 10 round magazine in it, it looks comical like from a Rambo movie. :D

Bought 500 rounds of 12ga on sale from cabelas. Between my buddies and I, we bought 2500 shotgun shells. The people at the cabelas checkout were kinda looking at us funny. We had to explain about automatic shotguns and ammo wasting.

AS far as I can tell, that is not a SAIGA

The trigger group is wrong.

I could be wrong too, but the SAIGAs trigger is farther back so that it uses a monte carlo stock

Upon closer look those are shotgun shells.

So it looks like an AK on the outside sortof..... but it is a tactical shotgun :blink :punk

Now I look like a jackass talking about WASR and shit :lol

Yep, shes a 12 gauge. The barrel length is 24" because the 19" models were sold out :D I am definitely getting a drum for it and will be searching for a better stock soon too. Add a light and a few more goodies she will look like a formidable face blaster.

That other shotgun is nice looking, like its not an original. The fit and finish look way better than mine!
