are things always this quiet in this forum?? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/sleep.gif

no thats not my question anyway...
i have read uk lees article about building his bike. should be right i think with the subframe change but read that u strengthened the frame in a few places and ive also read that slabbys frames are pretty weak and flexible. figured when it gets to the welding stage i may as well get some bits welded in the frame to. but where is the usual spot to strengthen them?
or is it really necessary? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif it will have decent horsepower one day so may as well get it ready for it while its apart...

the headstock and swing arm pivot area's are usually the favourite places to receive some extra bracing .

a while ago someone posted pics of a red/grey slabbie that had the frame braced just like yoshimura used to , for the track .

i've only go the one pic (below) one of the other guys here may have the rest of them http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Yea, I saw somewhere that some team had welded essentially a second frame onto thier frame for strength. Looked tough as hell! Also, on http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/, there's a lot of information about this.
