Now just think what would have happened if he was unarmed and had to call 911 for help? The only problem I see is that they were able to escape with their lives, I hope they all burn in hell.:cheers

I saw this on youtube last week; someone on arfcom posted a link to the full youtube video. I guess the homeowner himself posted it. He had a second, reverse, camera angle that clearly showed the guy in the white t-shirt busting ass out of the garage and up the street like he was Carl Lewis. Shouldn't have been too hard to find a silver hooptie with dubs and 3 bullet holes in the windshield. That guy was shooting to kill, as he should have been. The illegal Mexicans are getting more brazen about their activity in that area of the country.

Those mexicans would have guns law or no law. I HIGHLY doubt those mexicans were permit holder law abiding citizens:lol They would have had guns no matter what.

That's the problem with gun laws and why I refuse to support them, the bad guys don't follow them at all.

We've got enough gun laws already, we don't need more laws punishing the good guys, we need to stop letting the assholes off so easy.

Criminals, breaking the law, with guns that are illegal......... whodathunkit

They dont give a shit about laws, what makes you think gun legislation will do shit :nono.

And it will be a cold day in hell before gun legislation takes guns out of my hands. All gun legislation will do is make the good guys (like me) into criminals as well, because I wont follow it.

Hahaha Fucking Jesus man! I can't believe he would stoop that low. Anyway back on topic. That motherfucker keyholed that windsheild. Good for him, probably prior military. Everyone should have the right to bear arms. They just need stricter gun control laws. Guns will find their way into the hands of bad people no matter what. Everyone should be prepared and have proper training on how to employ a weapon to take down a threat. God can't save you from some looney fucker with a gun. Steady breathing and trigger control however can and will. :punk

What laws do you think need to be stricter?

All the laws do is make it more difficult for us to bear arms.

Too many people (including our representatives in government) seem to think that the right to bear arms is solely our right to own guns.... and taken to the extreme as long as we are allowed to have a .22lr, then that right is not being encroached upon.

When in fact, it is meant for us to be able to protect ourselves, including against tyranny in government. By taking away "assault" type weapons as they are attempting to do now, under the guise of the "fact" as they use it that assault weapons are not good for hunting or home protection and thus we dont need them, they are still taking away that 2nd amendment right. It has nothing to do with home protection, or hunting.

Guns serial numbers should be tracked for one. As well as stricter background checks and state to state license transfers. For instance once my gun is serialized to my name and fingerprints I should be able to take it anywhere I want especially if I have a license to carry a concealed weapon. People would stop fucking with americans if we actually let our citizens stand up for themselves.

Gotcha, you are not talking more laws to restrict guns (which is what MOST people fight for) and it confused me that a soldier would :blink.......

You are talking more to actually keep them out of bad guys hands (sadly most of our government cant think of good ways to do it, so they think keeping them out of ALL hands will help :banghead) and allow us to carry easier when we are allowed to have them.

Exactly, I have no problem giving DNA, Piss or my SSN to be allowed to carry a concealed weapon wherever whenever I want. It shouldn't be a special privelage there should be a set guideline of training and background checks prior to being allowed to even own a pistol, rifle or shotgun. The bleeding Liberals in this country speak otherwise until some shit goes down, then instead of wishing they had a gun b/c most of them are gays and pacifists, they bitch and moan about getting them banned all together. I got news for you, banning guns is like banning alcohol. It's not going to happen. So in turn give the responsible people the right to carry them everywhere and some dumb fucker will think twice before trying to hold your kids hostage in an elementary school. Think of all the lives that could have been saved if a teacher or a person that had the opportunity to stop a psycho had been properly prepared. It's starts with educating this country, but that's not going to happen either. :dissapointed

That was one of the reasonings I give for "why do you want to carry........ you will probably never need it"

first, the word probably means I MIGHT.

You probably wont need your seatbelt today. But you might.

but above that, one of the most recent examples I used was the christmas time killing, where the dude went to his ex wifes house or whatever, shot the girl in the face, and killed 9 other adults.

If only ONE of them had been carrying, things would have ended VERY differently :banghead. And NOBODY there expected someone to come in to their little christmas party and open fire. Everyone that was going to be there was friends right? And bad guys dont go into places where there are a lot of people right? They go after solo weak targets right? And "he was such a nice guy, a pillar of society" right?

Fuck that shit......... my pistol is within arms reach of me just about always these days

I carry a Sig Sauer p229 under my drivers seat. Loaded with HydraShock hollow points. I don't give a shit what a state law says, I'll gladly do a night in the slammer to explain why I have a gun in my possession.

Agree - looks more like a planned hit than a random home robbery.

However, if it had been a drug house, I guess it would have been exposed as cops would have been there fast :dunno

Edit: They also said at the end that the guy living there has "some history" - so a hit gone wrong :dunno

I agree about that particular home invasion. I'm sure it crossed the minds of the cops on scene as well.

Of course just because the 'bad guys' think he has something they want doesn't mean he really does.

We've seen some home invasions where the bad guys are after 'imaginary' drugs/money just because somebody wanted to act like a big shot. Well people believed him, and somebody was looking to come take it away.

SVS,

You'd be amazed how many times the bad guys actually call the police when something like this happens. Things often found are hydroponic gardens, illegal/stolen weapons, large amounts of cash, and prior call-ins. :lol

This was most likely a drug stash house and they came to get the loot and drugs that they KNEW were there.

That's the other bad part of this and that's when there's bad intel and an innocents house gets hit. Luckily that's rare.
