Trying to locate some fellow riders that like to do trackdays in the midwest. We have a few individuals from Central IL here that get together, but to have more would be nice. We ride, Putnam Park, Road America, Gratten, Gateway.....Let us know.

I'm like two hours away, i live where Illinois, iowa, and missouri meet. Its a little podunk town called Hamilton, Illinois. I want to do some track days. I'm also interested in taking an advanced riding course. I here theres one in aurora up near chicago. If you guys have any info on it let me know

Advanced riding course? Street or track? Maybe we could meet up down at Gateway. That would be close for you, right?

One of the local shops is planning on setting up a trackday at Putnam in the early spring. I'll post something when I get details. I've ridden there twice now and love the track. Just wish there were a few more lefts! Do you go alone or do you have a group of friends that go. I would like to organize something from this forum to get a bunch of Gixxer.com members to meet up at a track. Putnam would be my first choice.

Hey sorry its been so long i've been busy workin. Where is Putnam, i have a trailor so distance really isn't a problem so putnam sounds good. I'm interested in road coarse advanced classes. i heard thats there was one up in auroa ( i think thats how you spell it). So if you know of a sight or where i can find out where one is let me know.

I am from KC and there are a ton of track guys here. We mostly go to Mid America Motorplex in Omaha. Also Heartland Park in Topeka, ks is pretty fun. I need to go to gateway still, and where are some of the tracks that you guys are mentioning? Putnam Park is just 30-45min west of Indianapolis. It's 1.8 miles and smooth as silk. Great run-offs too. All around fantastic track.

Auroa? Do you mean Route 66 Raceway? I don't know if they have any bike courses. There is Blackhawk farms near Rockford??? They just re-did the surface a few years ago and I heard it's really nice now. Never been though.

I would like to get together and talk to an organization to see about a group discount for a trackday. If we got 10-15 riders we might be able to knock off fees to ride. If we got around 25-30 riders we could probably just rent the track ourselves. We would need some volunteers for corner workers and that stuff though.
