girl- "Hey guys, want to see a girl shoot a real gun?"
Dumbass
The guys that put that gun in her hand should be shot themselves. She's dumb for trusting a bunch of backwoods inbred redneck hillbillies but they're dumb for putting it in her hands knowing that this could happen. What if it had discharged another round into her forehead as it smacked back? If you think it doesn't happen I can cite two examples in the last six months where an 8yr old boy died at the hands of a 'certified instructor' and his family with a FA submachine gun and another was a young woman who went on a first date to a gun range. It's just too bad trusting people have to die because of dumb people who feel the need to be entertained.

I agree. And I doubt they only put one round in to prevent just the sort of disaster you're speaking of, because that'd involve some thought which clearly didn't happen.
Shooting is a very challenging and rewarding hobby, but guns are serious business, and people seem to forget that the consequences can be dire.

I agree, but I also disagree. I remember reading somewhere that the girl is a gun enthusiast herself, and SUPPOSEDLY knows how to shoot. True or not, we dont know.
It may have just surprised her, and if that is true...... oops, could have ended badly
If that is NOT true, and they did it just to scare her (I have seen it done with shotguns numerous times on Youtube and such) then shame on the gun owner
I wouldnt hesitate to put that gun in Dillys hands, and she is not MUCH bigger than that girl. But I would make sure she is ready for what might happen as well.
