i was thinking on going to a road america race in the spring.is anyone organizing a group ride?

come on,i can't beleive that no one is interested in a group ride to road america.it just must be too early to think about.

I'd like to meet people there for a trackday. Good time to meet knew friends and ride an unbelievable track. Last time I went I took my helmet cam out on the track and taped a few friends then sent the video to them. It's interesting watching yourself from different views. The guys were like little kids watching cartoons, fixed on the screen! If anyone is interested, let me know. I like Sportbike Track Time the best!

I will be going to the AMA Race there in early June, but I won't be riding there. Track only bike wouldn't go over to well with the highway patrol http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I camp at the little sportsman club just to the west of the track on a little side road. It's only like 15 bucks for the weekend and hardly any traffic. Maybe if we got some people together we could set aside an area for a large group from here? Anyways, I'll be going for sure.

Most of the roads are nice, hilly with good flowing curves. At least around the track. If you go up over the AMA weekend be careful, cops everywhere!

Cops are all over even with the CCS races also. Dunno what the good roads are around the track. And sportbike, little warning about your "plans" for drag racing or stunts anywhers near teh track. THe police, sherriffs dept and state patrol are out in FORCE during the CCS and even more so during the AMA races. So much as fart in the wrong direction and they issue tickets. I was pulled over for on taillight on my trailer being brighter than the other.

I've never seen so many people from wisconsin ... haha, hows it going everyone?

what about after the races did you see the guys stunting out it front, thrus and fri the cops kinda let it slide alittle but sat they really cracked down but there was still some guys with balls to do it even with the cops at the gate....Got to give it up for the kid on the damn moped riding wheelis out there that was some funny shit

I heard they aren' t going to have the camp cites open this year is that true or just B/S?

Wouldnt be surprised though. I'm just gonna drive up and drive back same day.

I'll be racing CCS and pitting for an FX team during the AMA. We are staying at Plymouth Rock camprground right by the track. Roughing it in a motorhome.
