: Pissing in public, while concealed
Moto_Joe 01-19-2009, 08:09 PM Strange question huh :lol
But very valid really. If you use an IWB holster mounted in front, when you undo your pants it poses a problem. When you undo them period, they want to fall due to the weight. Even an outside waist band, would want to fall. And I dont want to be flashing it around/setting it on the back of the toilet etc
Anyone else ever find this a PITA :dunno
subee13 01-19-2009, 08:12 PM LOL odd question but I wear my holster in teh front but it hurts my balls sometimes when I sit. I found the best spot for me is on the back but almost on my side. That seems to work the best for me. I also wear a shoulder holster sometimes and thats the nuts when you want to go to the bathroom.
Moto_Joe 01-19-2009, 08:15 PM My CCW is small enough that even sitting wont be an issue with it (when I get my permit :hammer :wait).
I am a T-shirt and shorts/jeans type of guy. So 99% of my carry will be IWB I am sure. VERY seldom is a jacket needed here in GA for long :D
removebe4flight 01-19-2009, 08:18 PM well, when i piss in public it is my weapon that i am pulling out.lol
sorry bro i had to.
Buster Hymen 01-19-2009, 08:44 PM I dont want to be flashing it around/setting it on the back of the toilet etc
Not sure how it works in the states but all the toilets in Canada have doors and if we use a urinal we unzip.:dunno

Moto_Joe 01-19-2009, 08:46 PM NO shit.... urinal..... unzip, IWB in front...... equals gun EASILY falling off waist :idea. So I could move it before I get there to the back, but still would want to weigh down the waist, and also means moving it, in public, and trying to do so discreetly. All I need is someone seeing me and "OH MY GOD HE HAS A GUN!!!" believe it or not, some people dont realize it can be legal to carry one
You cant even carry a gun Buster.... so shut it :phhht......... damn Canadians eh :phhht
Buster Hymen 01-19-2009, 09:06 PM So no doors on the toilets then?.....................and just because it's illegal to carry doesn't mean I don't.:flipoff

Moto_Joe 01-19-2009, 09:08 PM not on urinals......... and only strange people pee in the toilet, when you have a urinal available :dunno.
But that might be the only safe option :hammer.
I always thought of dudes who do that as weirdos. Like they have a complex or something :lol
ki_soarer 01-19-2009, 09:15 PM i cary without a holster for now and im carrying an H&K P2000. i cary at about 4-5 oclock if you will and i can sit and stand and pee and whatever with no problems. if its the kind of stall that has space under the deviding wall and i have to sit, i can just pull it from my waistband while standing, then rest it in between my feet sitting in my pants. lol. it works. or if im using a holster that day, ill just unstrap it and sit it on top of the toilet paper thingy. hahaha.

You're right It's probably best that they see your big gun than think you have a small weiner.
HAHAHA Disregard that.................I'm just fuckin around.:cheers

No, you are completely right dude :lol
KNOW I have a big gun, or THINK I have a small weiner........ fuck that shit, I am going in waving that bitch around like a crazy person when I go to the urninal.... then they KNOW I have a big cock :D
Moto_Joe 01-19-2009, 09:24 PM i cary without a holster for now , not a possiblity (against the law... lose CC rights if caught), and not a chance anyway. Last thing I want is it falling down my pantleg, or skipping across the ground.

really??? i was totaly unaware of that. is that a GA thing? ive actually only been doing it for a few weeks since ive been looking for the IWB holster i want. i havent had any problems with it slipping or anything. ill stick to my crapy uncle mikes if thats the case though.
Moto_Joe 01-19-2009, 09:47 PM I dont know, but Id venture a guess that nearly every state requires a designed holster. SOME even require a securing strap on the holster. GA doesnt require a securing strap as long as you are wearing it, but funnily enough, if it is just in the vehicle (under the seat EtC) it has to have a strap on it too :blink
torquemaniac 01-19-2009, 10:30 PM Just palm the holster into your front or back pocket discreetly.
Suzuki Duke 01-19-2009, 10:57 PM Generally if I just have to take a leak, I just pull it out my zipper. If I have to drop a load, I'll hold the gun in my free hand or palm it and drop it down my pants while I'm doing my business.
I either unzip and pull my donger down and out of the bottom of the leg of my boxer/briefs (TMI?) or use a stall if I need to undue everything for whatever reason.

had a kid get arrested the other day for bringing a bb gun into the hospital because he didnt want it taken from his truck that doesnt lock. gun slips out of waist band and goes skipping across the floor. picks up charges for unlicensed weapon brandishing weapon and carrying illegally.
most people dont realize that while its legal to conceal carry, as soon as someone sees it in public and your not using it to protect yourself...felony. make sure that bad boy aint goin nowhere. i would wear it on your side, unless your wearing tanktops it wont be seen. im 6'1'' 220 and 36'' waist. i carry my glock 22 under a xl tshirt and it isnt noticable. i can still pee in public without exposing the weapon, pun intended:shifty

Mdillon,
While I realize the rules vary by state...
(sadly, but glad we're not like Kalifornia, how ABSURD is it that a "kid" is charged with a FELONY for simple possession, of a "BB" gun???)
are you sure an exposed weapon is considered "brandishing"?
Most "Shall Issue" CCW states, regard "brandishing" as having "willfull intent to do harm" by the intentional and willful "exposing of the weapon in an aggressive manner".
Meaning, if your shirt lifts up at the supermarket while reaching for the Captain Crunch, or your pistol prints against your tight sweater, and little Miss Busy-Body notices and screams, a crime has not been commited unless there were threatening actions or behaviour present.
The actions can be as simple of a threat as patting one's side and intimating that a weapon is present, or waving/pointing a pistol at someone.
Now, while it's advisable to not have pistol mags and other gear skidding across the floor at the Publix, it very much matters what transpired prior and during the time the weapon was being exposed. (along with one's creds, eg: ccw, LEO, etc)
No matter what, one should take care to not cause alarm in these PC and nervous times by displaying a firearm and by all means, USE A QUALITY HOLSTER!
My .02 and YMMV,
DH

yeah, him being arrested was completely dependent on what the hospital workers stated. most likey they all threw a rod and thought he was there to finish someone off or something rediculous. you gotta remember its all reasonable. if the same lady watchin you get the cereal runs and says you were showing it off, then the police find out you do in fact have a gun, its enough to hook you up. doesnt mean you cant beat the charge, but its enough to go down to county and meet make some new friends.
i do agree with you though. the kid was just an example of what could go wrong. definatly buy some quality stuff, and keep it hidden.
