Has anyone tried out this scope? I am probably going to mount it on the pof 308 I ordered. Thanks for any thoughts on the scope,

Mike

I have used many Trijicon ACOG optics in varying environments and have nothing but praise for their clarity, accuracy and durability. Really, well put together stuff.

That being said, the Trijicon 6x48's are large and heavy (2.5 pounds-ish) , expensive, and unless the weapon was to be used primarily as a bench / rest shooter, and used for extended ranges I'd be inclined to look at the smaller, cheaper ACOGs or the AimPoint M2, M4 series, my personal fave. (just as robust too)

this is a massive optic. I have since gone to the ta55a. It's a pound lighter, and still gives me good distance for an optic with little hassle. I'm going to be using it for deer hunting and some target practice. Thanks for your replies!
