Hi Guys im new to this site, Ive read alot of the posts that other users have written but they dont seem to have the same fault as mine. There bikes seem to be running with the F1 code on. My Problem is...

My Bikes been in the garage for about 2 months, I got her out today to give her a ride but she wouldnt start, When i turn the key theres no fuel pump noise But the clocks light up as usual. I kept trying for about 5 mins and then she started bit hesitant mind, Thought it might be fuel so i filled her up, When i went to start it, she didnt want to know, just kept turning over and over. F1 lit up. I turned the kill switch off and then back on then i heard the fuel pump work and she fired up.

So now when i turn the key in the ignition and i see the F1 light flashing and dont hear the fuel pump i press the kill switch off and on again the F1 light goes out and the fuel pump fires up.

Any ideas chaps, Much appreciated

this has been covered a billion times, search it. put it in dealer mode, and youll get a code. btw its FI, not F1

I know it been covered before But i thought if someone else has had a similiar problem they could point me in the right direction.

make sure your tip over switch is working correctly
