Welcome, man!
Are you converting your Cali model to 49-state specs?
That's what I'm doing right now. If you are unable to find the intake boots on this board, let me know and I'll get you the number of the place I got mine. I think I paid under $20 including shipping for them.

Try the fit before you scrounge everywhere for parts... I ran 38mm CV's and RS flatslides in the 36mm boots for my B12, and currently have a set of 40mm CV's in the 36mm boots on my '96 1100.

i slammed fcr 39mm into them and i had bogging problems.....that was with mild work....now the motor has been built from the bottom up and my mechanic TOLD ME not to run with the 36mm boots for this set up....it's gonna kill the gas flow.....i was actually looking for 39mm...i think the canadian models have them.....so that i can just mount them and away i go...the 38mm should be cool without too much gas starvation....if that happens....grind to 39mm....but i'm suprised your 1100 isn't having any gas intake problems....how did you get by it? http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif

The number for Mr. Motorcycle, where I got my carb intake boots is 817-624-7861. Very helpful guys. They did send me 2 each of the #3 and #4, and none of the #1 or #2 boots, but they took care of that immediately. If you go that route, make sure you hae the numbers on the face of the intake boots, so you can tell them exactly what you need. If you don't have those numbers available to you, I can post them on the board when I get home tonight, unless someone beats me to it.
