I dont follow this stuff at all.
Is there any upcoming show in the near future where I could check out in person the 04 R1 and gixxers? As far as what I see and read, I am leaning to an 04 R1, but I would like to sit on them both and see what they have to offer.

I live in Orange County, so i guess anything in LA or my area is great.
Anyone?

I believe that December 12-14th there will be a "International Motorcycle Show" in Long Beach.

Anyone riding out to this show in Long Beach?

I'm heading out Saturday morning on the 14th.

ahhh shit i dunno.
The more i talk to people they say that it is probably not the best idea since i have only been riding for like 5 months total. I am pretty responsible though, and clocked many thousands of miles already. never gone down (knock on wood).

some people say that i will miss my gix six if i goto the track compared to a liter bike. I am debating just putting some 750 forks on the front and calling it a day. I could eventually down the road drop 2000$ or whatnot and buy used 750 motor, pop it in my 600 i guess. I just want more power....... MORE POWER!
