I'm gonna be coming to the So Cal area in Febuary and my bike is registered in Louisiana. I'm not sure if I wanna register in CA, if I do, will I have to do something about emissions? Are rear turn signals required in CA. I have the Extreme Graphics undertail with the turn signal intergrator. Will I catch or not?

thanx!

You shouldn't have a problem. California does not require a smog check for motorcycles(yet).

And YES, rear turn signals are required in the sate of California. If the vehicle was made with them it should have them. I believe the requirement is that they must be 12 inches from the brake light no closer. But you can double check that.

And about the "brake and light inspection" I don't know if they would want to see the bike to verify if everything works on it.

You might want to make sure that whatever you have on the bike "AS IS' works.

As far as emissions go, Cah-lee-for-nee-ya requires the an out of state bike have at least 7500 miles on it before you can register it.
