Other than the excellent (but moderately costly) STAR schools by Jason Pridmore, are there any other track day hosts in the Denver area? What track days are avaiable in Denver? Any opinion on the best track days? I know the season is over with the early snow, but I want to start planning some track days for next year http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif to keep myself from getting too depressed this winter. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/bash.gif
Not sure if you're looking for a formal track-day production, but you can always go ride the track out here (Second Creek, CDR, Pueblo, IMI) on your own pretty cheap. Pick a warm day and chances are there will be others out there with you who can help with lines, etc.

Thank you for your help. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif I was not expecting the tracks to be generally open to the motorcycling public. The tracks in CA and NV (my only experience so far) only open if a promoter or large enough group rents the track for a day. It sounds like the tracks in Colorado are open every day for test and tune unless a race or other event is scheduled; almost too good to be true (the racers in CA would kill for such flexible track time, of course they get to ride all winter http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif).
How do the motorcycles share time on the track with cars? Are there certain sessions or days for bikes and certain session or days for cars? Thanks again for the info.
Usually it's shared space between cars/bikes, though there are days where it's just bike-only. However depending on when you go out there, you won't find a lot of people.
Go to http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/index.php and check out the track forum, you will have no trouble finding people there to go on the track with you, etc. (I'm also one of the site admins there.)
