pan'86 11-04-2003, 10:12 AM did they make a hugger for a 93 style swing arm? i dont remember seeing one but you guys should know more thanks for any info http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif FastCat 11-04-2003, 10:25 AM Suzuki did not make an OEM one... but there are aftermarket ones around... there was a "group buy" that someone in the water-cooled forum set up last year for some of these (along with `94 and I think newer styles) and I got one for my `93 arm that way. ...be warned, that if you DO come up with a hugger that fits the `93 swinger in the `93 frame, it's going to give you clearance-issues on the rearset where the hydraulic-fitting for the rear brake line connects to the master-cylinder, as well as the tire will rub (unless you're running the 4.5" wheel) inside the hugger in the spot that's made to clear the shock-reservoir on the `93 frame. ...you'll also need to close-in the front of the thing (I used rubber floor-mat material) to keep the grime and grunge from getting slung on the rear shock... at least I hadda do mine that way. It's also possible to just take a hugger originally meant for the `88 or `89 style swinger and cut that to fit. ...the fiberglass one that I got for my `93 ended up needing me to fabricate some brackets to attach it to my swingarm (it came with a ty-wrap) and I cut one like this for bobbychet's bike.
