Anyone has factory jet kit for sale?? Dynojet needle has wear out my silde holes, compensate by lowering jet needle and smaller main jet, now bike doesn't run as fast as before.

Be certain to replace those needle-jets (the part that gets worn-out) with OEM parts if you use a Factory-Pro kit... it will not work properly with the dynojet needle-jets in place. The good part about it is that when they get worn out again (they will, regardless of who's jet-kit you put in there) you can just replace them with OEM stuff. ...and/or Factory also makes replacement needle-jets that are OEM spec, but made of a (supposedly) more wear-resistant metal.

Hate to deliver bad news, but the reason the nozzles wear out is that the plastic part of the carb body that the slides ride in are worn out! With the slide out look at the worn areas, you can clearly see where they didn't touch. You can custom repair them by filling the worn areas
with jb weld and then filing down the sloppy areas. Yes it works! Talk to the guys at Factory, I was talking with Mark a few months ago about this very problem. He said he may tool uo to make a replacement carrier piece. They all wear out,so stay away from used carbs.I fed three sets of nozzles into one in a year before I noticed the slides moving forward and backwards too far. Live and learn. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/yumyum.gif

Yeah - that's how it happens. I've resigned myself to just replacing these things every time I do a valve-lash inspection. ...it would be great if Marc could make the replacement stuff out of some sorta teflon/wear-resistant material so perhaps they'd last longer... or maybe even needle/roller bearings like keihin uses in the FCR's?

<<I was talking with Mark a few months ago about this very problem. He said he may tool uo to make a replacement carrier piece>>

Is the carrier piece refering to the 'guide' for the slide?? I'm looking for the replacement as I broke one of it when I remove the worn out dynojet emulsion tube.
