I keep all my stubbs until I get rid of a card. When I do finally close a card I not only put the card in a shredder I put all the stubbs in there too. I've had a close run in with identy fraud once (some ass charged 8 subscriptions to an adult websit on my card) AND DIDN'T EVEN GIVE ME THE PASSWORD!!:banghead

Citi Bank was great though and got it all cleared up for me.

I've had the same credit card (credit line) since I was 16 and have had no problem what so ever with it. Sometimes my monthly bill is a couple dollars and sometimes it's a couple thousand. My point is, pay off every cent at the end of each month and you will also have no problems.

I've started cutting back on my credit card use, but I don't see where I'm going to have a hundred or two grand to lay out for a house anytime within the next decade or so.
