I am looking for some ideas for guages on my 86 1100r streetfighter. I plan on using a flat piece of carbon fiber up against the front forks with a hole for a single headlight, I don't want the giant OE tach and speedo to stick up like it currently does. I did see someone use a digital bicycle speedo, i'm not sure exactly how they hooked it all up, if anyone knows please post. As far as a tach goes it is possible to buy a small aftermarket unit or is the oe tach the only option?

Theres a post bout the digital bycycle speedo, just do a search and u'll find it. Or if u dont like that idea and wanna put something more trick then go to mgm-bikes.de they have some very nice digital tacs.... click on zubehor-SHOP then scroll down on left and click on digitale tachoes...........a bit pricey but bad ass tho... the problem is the shit is all in german..
