OK, if you've seen my post in General Discussion, you'll know I'm planning on buying a 1990 1100. It's got a Micron 2000E full system and K&N pod filters.

What does a stock 90 1100 put out? What can I expect to see from the above mods (bearing in mind that the Micron system probably ain't much better than stock)? And what can I do to get 400 gazillion back wheel horsepower without major engine work?

A stock '90 1100 puts out around 140ish bhp at the crank, so with the mods you've described, bank on another 5-10 bhp http://www.gixxerforum.com/ubb/images/icons/wink.gif

smoothbores and drop-in stage 1 cams will give you a good boost. anything more will involve getting deeper into the motor.
