It appears like the fan is not running, looking for fuse box but the only one i can find is on the back by the tail light and is mainly for lights and ignition.... is there any other fuse box? any ideas why the fan might not be running?

the fan does not come on until the gage is almost in the red...wire it up onto a manual switch, that way you can turn it on as you wish....what makes you so sure the fan is the problem as to the bike overheating....thermostat,coolant,headgasket,lean jetting....???? check it all out!!!

you need to check the thermostatic switch on the bike, that will cause the fan not to run, consequently creating your overheating problems in traffic, hope that helps,
