I'm lazy..... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif haven't done anything much besides set the ring end gap on one piston...... it's sitting here if front of me as I type this. I also found that upon opening the box I recieved from APE it seems that they did not return the wrist pins with my pistons.... not good. I'm going to order new crank bearings this weekend..... along with new wrist pins. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif Last but not least I mounted the kit tach into my Graves bracket.

Here's the tach mounted in the graves bracket but I will be changing it soon..... I will be mounting the tach into a piece of foam that will be mounted to the graves bracket. I also realized that I will be needing a Sigma too so I will be on the lookout for one of those as well.

317 That looks Great! alot lighter than mine and that rear sprocket, how many teeth is that?
I'm looking now for a nice triple like the one you have. Where'd you get it?

Dan,
Is that piece of foam from the Ebay auction? Just curious...
Got my 49-state carbs today, and 38mm intake boots are on the way. I've got to figure out if I want to run pods, or if I need to get the airbox to carb boots to fit the larger carbs. What do you think?

That is a 39 tooth steel AFAM sprocket..... I have a new 43 tooth aluminum AFAM sprocket too but I don't think the gold nuts will look all that well with it.

There's a guy that goes by Nori on ebay that sells the t-clamp but he's been getting $200 for them....

...when I got mine, I just let my fingers do the walking and dialed-up local bicycle shops. Sigma recently changed the design of the "base" that the unit plugs into - there's a good chance that you can get a "sale price" on one of last year's models if you can locate one that's still in-stock somewhere. IIRC I paid about $12 for the old-style BC-1200 model.

My Sigma BC-800's acting up somtimes the MPH is way off I'll try resetting it or getting a new battery for it. My Bicycle friend says his is acting up too. When I was "skinnier" and used to ride bicycles I had a Avocet speedo that was wireless and had no problems with it. I'm thinking of going back to that one.I think it was about $80.00 back in the day. Do you want my old sigma?

Hey Gixxer317
Have you done some more to your bike recently? I've done some to mine but it's too cold outside. I'll try to take her out sunday and test the Powerpak and see how the new can sounds it's alittle bigger than the aluminum can. Let us know what you did K?

Well APE sent me the wrong wrist pins for my pistons..... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Gotta dick with sending them back now.... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif also found out that the base gasket i got from them two years ago was the wrong one as well.... http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wtf.gif

The only other thing I've done is save a couple of ounces replacing a few M6X16 steel allen bolts with some nice taper head Titanium allen bolts..... on this size bolt they are more for looks than anything.... they will match the Ti bolts I'm getting for the front end and thats what I was looking for.....details details http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey 317
Do you guys have a place where you can go to get specialty screws? We have one here in Tacoma. It's a cool place to visit and they have almost any bolt/nut you could want.

They have a lotta stuff, but taper-head allens aren't one of them... titanium fasteners are another. They also don't stock much of anything in stainless larger than M8.

It *is* a cool place to have around-the-corner though, and they will be happy to obtain just about anything ya ask for - if you buy in sufficient quantity. ...that's where I'll end up sending Santa Claus for my riv-nut installation-tool and riv-nuts.

I do have a specialty bolt place here nearby and they have been really cool in giving me stuff like metric stainless button head allen bolts but Ti bolt are something they do not carry..... The Ti bolts I bought were off of Ebay for a buck a piece. When I go to get the Ti bolts for my front end I will be using Yoyodyne..... That will probably be a Christmas item too. As you can see it's around $110.00 just for the front end.....
