Need help ASAP! Already started swap, but am confused. The pivot bolt that goes through the swingarm (main Support) is Much larger on the 750 and more clearance to the inside of the frame. Also seems to use different style bearings. Am scetchy about trying to use the smaller diameter bolt from the 1100. Also exactly what needs to be swapped w/ the shock housing. The top bolts up fine but does not use the remote resevoir? Also should there be any concern about aligning the chain w/ washers if the swingarm must be shimmed on either side? Need to get this thing on the road this week. Next but not as critical I also have the front suspension from the 750 and would like to use, whats all involved, and may note the front wheel is Trashed so if I can retain the 1100 front wheel would be great. If I can simplify this I will, would appreciate anyone I can speak w/ I can be reached at (443)260-2450 or will call back if neccessary. Any info appreciated. For specifics my bike is 1994 GSXR 1100 and the donor parts I believe are 1997 GSXR 750.

sell the SRAD arm and buy a 91-95 gsxr 750 arm (makes sure to get the linkages too if you buy a 93 750 they are different.) That is far easier than the swap you are trying to do. SRAD swing arms do not just bolt on to cradle frames.

you are wasting your time...... you would be better off ditching the 96 GSXR 750 swingarm and going out and buying a 94-95 GSXR750 swingarm. the 96 uses a totally different linkage assembly...... you are going to screw up the linkage ratio if you stick the 96 arm on there.........

Hate to be the bearer of yet more bad news, but the front wheel is going to give you problems too... keeping the older style wheel will be problematic because of the smaller axle-diameter (and therefore, bearings) but the big problem you'll run into there is the diameter of the brake-rotors. The `94 1100 has 310mm rotors and the SRAD uses 320mm rotors... the spacing for the caliper-mount bolts will be in the wrong place even if you deal with the axle-dia. issue.
