Hi guys,
Got a question for ya, I just bought a stage 1 kit, and what would be the best jet selection for me? I have a supertrapp tunable exhaust, and a K&N air filter, and I am using the stock airbox, the kit came with 118's and 114's. What would be the best setup for me to get the most power.
Thanks,
Tom

Good question. The way to find out is to put one or the other in, and go run it on a dyno (or a long, flat, deserted piece of asphalt) and see what the measured top speed is, then swap out with the other size and whichever one makes the bike go faster in top gear is the one you want.

here is a link to factory pro http://www.factorypro.com/ this a very good article on tuning carbs. you are after the cv link but the fcr link has much good info too. kind of long winded and must be read 3 or 4 times but very good info. contact dynojet ask for tech they might have responses from user in your area.

i dont really care for mine. i dont care for the whole ring tech. To me it sounds better with out rings. But i got it in a pinch , brand new for way cheap ($75) and its the best of the brand.. the 4 - 2 - 1 full stainless. I think im going to get a v&h ss2r over the winter months

im not sure the ss2r is the thing either, thats what i have on my bike and im not really sure i like it. i am going look for something over the winter. a 4 2 1. the cannister leaks around the flange even with new packing and the exhaust leaks onto my polished swing arm and colors it. any suggestions?

really. hmm then i dunno then.. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif not to many people make pipes f0r these older bikes any more. well not for my 93 1100 any ways
My buddy said tbr makes one but I haven’t been able to find one. Another thing I don’t like about my stainless super trapp is at the end of the can it discolors all the time. I’m constantly using stainless steel polish to bighting it up.. I’m just not impressed with it i guess
so far the only choices of pipe I have found for these are
v&h
yosh
hindle ( I think)
and super trapp
Any one know of any manufactures for exhaust systems for these bikes

Don't forget Ebay http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I got my brand new Micron carbon canned system for my 93 on there for $300! I think I was the first person to see the auction posted and did the buy it now on it! I always see pipe for the 1100's on there when I'm searching around.
