I have tried to search and could not find the answer I wanted. Will the temp. get too close to boil over if running the bike with water only instead of a water/coolant mixture? I am asking cuz this is one of the set up requirements for a track day and racing school.

Also thinking of racing next season and reached out to Flesh. He suggested that I reach out to you guys on the east coast (I live in VA). Would like to meet some of you guys and take a look at some of your setups. In the mean time I will continue to search for info to prep the bike.

Water only is required and will work fine. Some race organizations allow water wetter or the equivalent to be added. Troy341

Personally I'd rather add Redline's Water Wetter to the distilled H2O. Its just a few bucks. One bottle will last you a very long time on a 4stroke GSXR.

Mr. Water Pump does like some sort of lubrication other than just H2O, and you never know when you will get redflagged on a hot summer day at VIR, sit on the hot pit forever and a day, and the bike will get super duper hot, boiling is no good.

just to be safe, I always added Water Wetter on my GSXR...
