wonder if it would be a good thing to fit a 2003 gsx 1000 rear shock on a 2003 gsx 600 ...
anyone as try it ????
I heard the shock is way better on a 1000 than on a 600
i already have the shock ....and i don't use it .
Just wondering ????

Actually, if you are just wanting a better set-up than the 600's oem shock for a track day deal or aggressive street riding, the oem 1000 shock will fit the bill great.

Don't waste money having it resprung and have a place revalve it. If you do that, save the money and buy a Penske.

In any case, the 1000 has a stiffer spring rate. The 2003's internals are slightly better (different) than the 02 and older. The stiffer rate will help a bit, but if you want to use it for racing, throw it away and get a proper race shock...
