Hello, sorry to post this here but you guys are the only reliable source of information I trust.....

I recently bought some Goodrigde SS braided brake lines for my 2001 GSXR 600 and when I installed them it seemed to me that they were a bit too long as there was quite a bit of extra inches that seemed unnecessary.

Is there a reason for this. They work just fine, much better feel, but I am currious as to why they're so long. The lines I bought were supposed to be made for my bike.

they need a certain amount of slack so that they dont bind up when you turn the bike from extreme left to extreme right (like when your in the pits, or a parking lot turning around).

Or when doing a wheelie (since the forks are fully extended).

just zip tie the lines together at approximately the same height as the lower tripple tree, thenthey'll spread to eatither side of the front fender
