well, this guy is on a 600, not a liter bike. But still, a car has to have alot of power to beat a 600 too.

Also, don't get caught up in HP numbers, there is alot more to it than that. Vehicle weight, gearing, aero it all plays a part, especially at higher speeds.

If your S2k is stock, no you can't.

seeing as parrallel twin 650's have a higher(slightly) power to weight ration than a vette, your 600 SHOULD have beatin that vette. good job on proving what everyone knew.

300whp in an LSJ Cobalt would be a little more believable becuase of the 4.05 final drive but it doesn't matter troll, stop lying about Cobalts and giving the people who actually do put that type of power down with theirs. Go troll ss.net or ss.com with that garbage.

By the date of this post I had my turbo SS.

They came stock with 260/260 compared to the supercharged SS's 205/200

Both were mildly under rated and put close to crank down to the wheels.

Not defending Cobalts, or VTEC's.. but be careful not to generalize statements like your LT1 can beat ANY 4 banger/cobalt/vtec, etc etc etc. Quite a few guys with LT1's and LS1's made that mistake and lost money to me on the street. :punk Stock/Stock, sure, but there are a couple of people out there who don't like keeping their cars stock.

BTW, I also had an LT1 powered Trans Am. Nice car. I like fast cars PERIOD. So I am not hating on any of them. I just hate generalized statements like the above. I will prove my statements with a link to my old Eclipse running down Rockingham Dragway.

Edit: Oh yeah, just to clarify the money on the street statement, we set up races at one location, and all drove to a marked off back road without traffic late at night. Got our race out of the way, and left. Not putting the public in danger. :) And they guys I hung out with were not the "rice crowd". Mustangs and Camaros that ran low 6's at our local 1/8th mile track. And yeah, a couple were quicker than that. :)

I know they can be made fast, and I've seen fast ones. You'll have to excuse my old school "American Muscle" way of thinking. I feel that if the car didn't come with a motor you can make it fast with, then it's not meant to be fast.
