Here is the description.

These are a new weighted bar end designed by Hvmparts.com to reduce vibrations. They are high quality billit with a brushed look. They make them to fit the different cc bikes so they differ from each size bike. I was asked to test their product and have no affiliation with their company. I no longer feel vibrations in my clip-ons so they are awesome. They plan to retail them for about $42.00 plus shipping. So if anyone is interested check out their website at www.hvmparts.com. (http://www.hvmparts.com.) If they are not on their web site yet then drop them a email with your year, model, and size of your bike and Walt will get back to you. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who has a vibration problem that causes their hands to go numb.

Made by HVMParts.
Product model name: GSXR Bar Ends.

Walt told me that if the demand is there and they sell enough sets that maybe he will have them anodized but for now they are only available in the brushed look.

I'd be curious to know if they make them for an 03 gsxr 1000 as well. My hands are killing me after 3-400 miles.

according to the responses I got from this board the bar ends will fit the 03 the difference between the 02 and the 03-04 model is only the length on the OEM ones.

I am having a hard time contacting HVM.
Tried from two different email accounts.
Anybody have a phone number or email other than hvmparts@hvmparts.com
Or am I missing something?

I've been having a hell of a time with them as well. I finally got a response from a guy named Steve SteveC [steveonline@optonline.net] it goes as follows:

5/13/2005

Mr. Taylor,

HVMP is in the process of changing hands and we expect to be running at 100% in the next month. We are in the process of restocking our inventory, and I will contact you as soon as the GSXR bar ends become available.

Thanks for your patience and continued interest in our product.

Until the new website is running, please direct all your inquiries to this email address.

Steve

I received your payment for $56.00.. The bar ends will be in tomorrow morning's mail and they should arrive by friday or saturday.

Thanks again, and tell your friends about us. Let know how the bar ends work. Customer feedback is the key to our business.

Got my bar ends today. They look great. I was hoping that they'd have the GSXR engraving on them like the pic on the top page but they are just a nice brushed stainless steel. Nice weight to them. cant wait to try them out. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/punk.gif

They are about an inch and a half off the tip of the grip. There was a big difference for me. I commute to work each day 40 miles each way and my hands had the sleep (needles) feel whenever I'd get to my destination. I don't have that anymore even on longer rides. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/icon_rant.gif

Hi, i was doing some research and came across this thread. I just want to clarify that the picture in the first post does not appear to be a HVMP product. I don't recall HVMP ever making an engraved bar end. I would imagine there would even be some copyright concerns by doing something like that.

The poster is either trying to get HVMP in hot water, or made an honest mistake. I hope it is the latter.

I can be reached at info@hvmp.com if anybody has any questions.

Sincerely,
Steve

No problem I was just a little puzzled. Thanks for the clarification.

Hypnodic01, I'm glad you like them, thanks for the support. We should be adding even more bar ends to our inventory in the next few months. And hopefully the website will be up before then. I hope to spend the winter researching and measuring for new applications.

Don't hesitate to email me with any concerns or questions.
