Hello everyone. I'm a new rider and new to the Gixxer forum. Have a question about jetting. I bought a 2000 SV650 about a month ago with 8700 miles, it came equipped with a Yoshimura RS-3 stainless full exhaust. The bike runs fine and starts up pretty easily on cold mornings using the choke. But I've noticed that part of the exhaust pipe just under the engine case has a purple tint to it. I didn't notice this when I bought the bike and I was wondering if this is a sign that I need to have the carbs rejetted? Thanks.

It's not a must but you'll get more out of the full system if you do.
