Ok -
Here is my problem - I am not sure what is best, do I put my race bike back together and sell it or do I part it out?
this is what I need to make it a perfectly "new" bike:
- Radiator
- Oil Cooler
- Tank
- fairing bracket

Now heres the catch, I have NO money to spend unless it is absolutely critical.

I will be transferring the 2003 forks, brakes & wheels to the 02 bike which should help resell value as well. I have brand spanking new bodywork sitting in a box just for that purpose too. The Frame is black as is the swingarm on the 02, I had that done. Just not sure what is going to work out best in the end. What do you guys think I should ask for the complete bike if I set it back up again? Or should I just part it out? Engine only has 2800 miles on it! DOH!

it is easier to sell a complete bike...... but also you may get more $$ for the parts...? depends how much time you have ....... parts move alot slower !!!!!! only the things everyone wants are gone., you end up with alot of little stuff., [not a bad thing though] ??

sell it complete if you want a fast turn around on the cash.

part it out if you want to make more cash.

why are you selling it????

the wiz needs a 1000

I bought the 03 1000 and need to sell this for some $$ fast! Nothing wrong with it at all. I am kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place though financially so $ are important right now.

tough spot to be in bro. but these guys are right. sell the whole bike for less money, but it will move faster. parting out will get more loot in the long run, but that could be a very long run. or, you could sell it as is. take what you think the value would be if she were all together and subtract the parts missing. a lot of guys would like to buy a bike that needs a few things because they could get the bike for cheaper... so that is my final answer. sell it as a whole bike as is. someone will want it and fix it up themselves. someone like the wiz.lol
