Hi guys (gals?),

I'm new to the forum, but would be greatfull if anybody has had a similar experience.

I have a 1990 GSXR 1100 that has run faultlessly for months (I've only had it for months before you ask), but in the last couple of days it has developed a really anoying misfire/hesitation when it gets to around the 3.5/4000 rpm mark. IT keeps going until around 5.5/6000, then clears!

I've checked things like HT leads, and they seem to be ok on the surface.

Any ideas?

Found the problem over the weekend Jeff. As you pointed out, the problem was down to a plug breaking down.

Changed the plugs (and leads, to be sure) and the thing was like a new bike!
