Having a hell of a time setting the rpm limit light/warning to 15k...actually to any K. Manual says push SEL button from light brightness mode and then press ADJ to select your RPM.

says from brightness mode, but you have to turn it on first to get the brightness mode. Very cryptic instructions (meaning Suzuki's). Thanks for any additional info you may have.

Yeah, he's right, you have to hold the button WHILE you turn the key on. Then you'll be able to set your shift light.

When yall say turn the bike on do you mean have the bike running. Because me shift light does not come on at all. I ran it all the way up to like 14000 RPM and no light, So I'm thinking that it's set to the redline.

If I remember right you have to set it the first time or it's not on at all :shifty

press and hold both buttons with key off, then turn key on (engine off) keep holding down untill shift light flashes, release buttons and use adjust to set RPM

k6- hold the set button, turn the key on, then after 3 seconds release and press the mode button

if the little lightning bolt is on (near the gear indicator) then the shift light is on
if its off, its off

oh, have a look where it said that, just before it it should say how to adjust the brightness of it. You have to go through 2 steps before you get to setting the limit

the bike wont allow you to set it past the 16k redline but hold in the select button for approx. two sceonds then turn the ignition to on without starting the engine just turn the switch. then press adjust and the shift light should appear steady press adjust again if you want to set it to blink. after your comfortable with whichever setting you chose hold the adjust button and wait for a second or two then you will see the tach move up to approx. 14k and slowly gradually move then move fast and back down to 7k choose where you want the light to come on. The manual didnt really explain it to well it was more of a trial and error for me.. TO SAVE THE SETTINGS after your done just flip the ignition off and turn it on afterwards to see that the settings are the same. you should see a little circle with a lightning bolt under the a/b/c modes..

didn't even know what that light was for. I will surely put it to use now on my o4 750
