doesnt that effect the low end power that suzuki was tryna fix on the 08's or no ? just wondering so then i kno what to do... and also is there a big difference in the header size btween the 08 and 06-07

I took out the quiet core insert and it sounds nice and deep, but not to loud.

also, the little mid pipe is the same flat stainless finish as the can on mine, unlike the polished midpipe in the picture.

anyone know whats going on with taylormade, any updates or anything?

the graves looks sick.... i'm about a hair's length away from getting the devil tho... ^_^ just can't help but feeling like some GOOD solution to routing the cat will come out the second i buy a slip on :(

I got in touch with taylor made they said it will be ready mid june for sure! They also said it will be an underbely gp style. Is that what the last years model was? I can't wait I hope its just as nice as last year. Just go to their page and leave em an email, they said they put me on a list..

i just installed the m4 slip on ..i was really debating with the yoshi r-55 or the m4 reason both gp style so when you lean hard on a sharp right... you dont scratch the shit out of your exhaust.. but honestly the m4 is so freaking loud my head goes numb if i ride for more than 30 minutes. but then again cars can hear me coming from a mile away. =] ill post some pics soon!

Just as an update to all whom were interested in the K8 Taylormade systems i just spoke with them again (after a month of waiting) and they said that development was going slower than expected so there were no solid info and pricing/availability/style of system. Bummer But im currently custom building a stainless steel underbelly exhaust for myself because im tired of waiting. its great working with a company that does stainless sheet metal and i have full stainless welding rig too.

why dont you get the k6/7 header? and then order the taylormade 07 exhaust?

i was going to do that but if you look at the lower fairing down by where the stock exhaust exit is, you will notice that the fairing is completely different. that completely eliminates the posibility of using taylormade's carbon or black fairing filler pieces, which from my standpoint would be completely retarded because their can doesnt look any better than the stock cat conv. does. my reasoning for building my own was that my can will be made out of stainless thereby looking WAY better that a black can under there!

it looks very similar...may be you could cut a little bit the carbon to match the k8 faring

thought about that too because the fairing on the k8 seem to come further back from the previous but..... i have no idea what that carbon piece looks like on the other side compaired to that fairning i have searched up and down for pics of the left side of a bike w/ the carbon piece on and cant find anything and im not about to waste the money buying it then it only look decent on one side. also if you look at the lower part of the fairing the k8 slopes up to the rear whereas the k6/k7 goes parallel to the ground so i was also worried the carbon piece would sit to low on the fairning thereby looking like shit, ps that carbon piece carries a hefty premium on pricing vs. the can w/ no carbon i would hate to start cutting and grinding only to ruin it.

which exhaust is loud? i just want a slip on. one of my buddies has the 2 bro and its QUIET sounds like stock. also have another friend that has a hard rock motorsports exhaust which is loud. but dont wanna copy him if i can avoid it.

Is the taylormade supposed to be built better for the k8? Im not bashin them because I have never owned one, and I really liked the look and sound of the exhaust. But I know 2 people, one guy with a k7 1000, and the other had a k6 750 who had them and both of theres literally fell apart after only a few months. The same thing on both of them the rivets came out and it fell apart. One of the guys called taylormade and the only thing they would say is that there shop bike was doing fine.

Nice, I just ordered the m4 slip on last night. I have read a lot about most of the k8 slip on's sounding factory with that cat. Do you still have the cat on? Would you have a sound clip of your m4 slip on ?:biggrin
