At the risk of looking completely stupid, the seat cowl the dealer gave me wont fit, no chance in hell. Does anyone know if the seat cowling for the 1000, 750, & 600 are the same? Is there a possibility I have the wrong one?When I line up the two pins in the front, there is no way the plastic part (in the rear) of the seat cowl will fit without trimming the existing plastic. Any advise would be helpful.

Sounds like they gave you the wrong cowl. Take it back. The cowl should fit with no issue.

My dealer almost gave me an 07 cowl, they look real close but DEF dont fit. Thankfully i didnt want the seat so they put the cowl on before i left. Thank goodness!

My dealer gave me an 07 at first but I noticed it right when it was handed to me since I had an 07 previously and I knew that the cowls were different from 07 to 08. It's a possibility that they either gave you an 07 600/750 or possibly a 1000..

Dealer sent me the right one...It fits like a dream. They either gave me the wrong year or maybe a 1000. Anyway, problem solved!!:punk

In the US is comes with the bike. If the dealer refuses to give it to you call Suzuki of America and they will take care of the dealer issue for you.

In Belgium both are included :cheers

But we pay our bike a lot expensiver :crying

Glad i read this im goin to make sure i get my seat and cowl when i buy mine.

Went there today, ended up getting it but they told me one more time they dont come with with the bike... I was like ughhhh:scratch they first came out with a blue one so someone else also got boned, BUt then he "found" the black one, But damn looks so much better on.:cheers
