: Warning sticker removal, tank pad fitted, wheel tape fitted.
GSXR600K8 04-29-2008, 12:26 PM Put my tank pad on today, got rid of that horrendous warning sticker from the tank also, ( used a hair dryer ), bought some wheel rim tape from Ebay, ( 2.85 ), think the wheels look quite good now.
Next job to fit my r&g tail tidy.

Hi m8 it's a genuine suzuki tank pad, I got it free with the bike, I had a choice of a few, but this matched the carbon fibre effect thats on the the frame around the tank.It looked the best imho, if you want a Suzuki part number I'm sure i have the packet somewhere, let me know and i'll post it up for you.
andrewGSXR600 04-30-2008, 03:54 PM That rim tape looks really nice, i bet you won't enjoy those rims too much when you try to keep them clean, but they look really good

My k2 GSXR had white wheels so I bought Autoglym bike cleaner, never looked back, takes all of 2 mins for them to come up looking bright white.
You can clean the rest of the bike as well with it definitley the best bike cleaner on the market m8, give it a go, white bottle with a pink label,

AFitchguy07 04-30-2008, 06:28 PM have you taken the exhaust off (like 4 screws) and heard it without it on. sounds much nicer IMO until i get around to getting a new one.
foskamink 04-30-2008, 06:43 PM i also took off the suzuki sticker, on the back tail and front above headlight, since no one will ever see them anyway, and the 600 stickers are too blue for me, i took those off too. if u take those off u wont regret it, ill post pics soon. bike looks 10 times better without them
'07GSXR600 04-30-2008, 06:51 PM man such a hot looking bike! i just bought a blk/blu k7 600 and IMO was the best paint shceme suzuki has ever done UNTIL i saw this color scheme. how beautiful is it right!!!! i just ordered some blue rim tape as well. hoping it will brig out the blue a lil more. cheers

Hey Bro,
OK thanks for the info. I really like your tank pad, unfortunatly that one isnt listed on the suzuki website.
If you can get the part number that would be really helpful :biggrin
Thanks

LJ600 05-01-2008, 01:54 PM Sweet ride I have the 07 blue/white 600 seems like after every ride I clean the back rim. White will be hard to keep clean, I had a gxsr tank bra put on my bike I think its alot better than a tank pad. The tank always was cold on the legs at first. I drove bike to dealership and they had a 08 black/yellow with one on liked the looks of it alot.

are these stickers where you just stick them on your bike. . . or is it permanent because i dont want people just peeling them off and putting it on their bikes:scared
