im having a hard time choosing an exhaust that i want for my k8 750 i have a few that i have been looking at but if anybody else has suggestions that would be cool too. Im looking at slip ons because well i just dont have the 1200 for a full system. so im looking at the carbon leo vince evoII, the yoshi trc and the black m4. any opinions?

dietKocaine, which 2bros can did u get? can you point me to the link? Would you be able to record the sound of the can for us all to hear being revved and idle?

I am hoping to get a 750 when they come over to australia in a few weeks. The cat box is a bummer as i have seen a 07 model with the box on looking like its ready to rust.

Does the 600/750 calibrate to the new slip on? or will it just run thin?

cheers

This is on a K7 and the guy doesn't really throttle it, but you can tell if he does the sound is really great. First hand I can tell you that it is a great looking can and sounds amazing. No mapping needs to be done...it runs great.

Here is somewhat of a comparison of Yoshi vs. 2 Bros sound wise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJQCA1UayeI&feature=related . Remember a slip on will not give you any noticble gains, so while a full Yosh system is a hands down winner, for a slip on the 2 bros sounds more throaty down low and still has the high end wail for 2/3 the cost.

Save up for a header swap to an 06/07 and you'll be impressed:cheers

$80 shipped for 06-07 headers. Then just buy a 06-07 slip on and you have a full system at about a $300+ discount.

anybody have any experience with leo vince?

I have had Leo Vince on a few of my previous bike, They are VERY good, they are top quality, they are right up there with akra and yosh

I would seriously do the cat hack or buy an 06/07 header and get rid of your cat

My vote is Akra for your can tho :)

i just ordered my akra carbon shorty and it should be here in a few days they said. that pipe with the cat hack looks really good, and sounds really nice as well.
just hack it or get the 06/07 header.

IF you live in a smog state I would not cut your cat off just incase you get pulled over. Being I live in Cali, I have to go the 06-07 headers route. With my luck after I cut the cat off I would get pulled over and have to go back to stock for an inspection. Then I will be screwed.

Hi D.M.D ive just done the header swap with a akra shorty,im gona get myself a k7 stock can with built in cat(a cheap damaged one for next to nothing) then if pulled over or have any grief i can just swap cans,i think it will work ok

I would save up and get a full Akra racing system. I just installed mine last weekend with the bazzaz. The sound is incredible with the insert out. Its called delayed gratification. Put off getting the exhaust til you got the $$ to get what you really want. just my 2 centsim having a hard time choosing an exhaust that i want for my k8 750 i have a few that i have been looking at but if anybody else has suggestions that would be cool too.
